Related post: Flag of Borgia's Ecuador
I recently discovered that a branch of the famous Borja/Borgia clan settled in Latin America, most specifically in the Ecuatorian capital Quito, so I thought it would be a prefect setting for any AH scenario involving this Latin American country.
In relation to the possibility that Ecuador would be under the rule of the Borgias, I thought of designing a coat of arms that would be perceived as distinct; I just combined the heraldry of the Borgias/Borjas and the condor to symbolize the Andean character and heritage of the Ecuatorians and the role of the Borgias/Borjas as "stewards" of national sovereignty.
