In my TL "Filipinas: La Gloriosa y Más Allá", Severino Taíno fought for a single Tagalog-speaking province, and, due to his relatively powerful position as a member of the Academy of Tagalog Language, his ideas quickly spread. As a result, a referendum was held, resulting to the creation of the province of Kumintang, composed of the former provinces of Batangas, Tayabas, and La Laguna (OTL Laguna and southern Rizal, particularly Pililla peninsula), with the island of Marinduque was added after a referendum. The capital of this new province was the town of Taal, long considered as the cultural center of the Tagalogs.

For the coat of arms itself, it's basically the combination of the elements representing Batangas (horse), La Laguna (shores of Laguna de Baí and Mount Banahaw) and Tayabas (palm tree).
