As there are now two versions of my flagship TL "Filipinas: La Gloriosa y Más Allá", automatically there are now two not-so-quite different versions of Palawan/Paragua:

1. Regular version: The northern and central parts of the island-province, Cuyo Archipelago included, are Cuyonon-dominated while the south is dominated by the speakers of Palawan family of languages.

2. Full/ASB version: Because the fact that the ASB version of Cuyo Archipelago and Calamián islands composed a separate island-province, mainland Paragua/Palawan remained dominated by speakers of Palawan language family. Nevertheless, the northern and central regions were dominated by descendants of mixed marriages between Cuyonon traders and native Tagbanuas/Bataks/Palaw'an, who professed Roman Catholicism and speaking Central Tagbanua (the lingua franca of the island-province in this version).

The two different versions of Palawan/Paragua still share the same coat of arms, nonetheless. For the heraldry itself, the peacock symbolized the province itself, and the three Crosses of Santiago represented the three other major islands in the Philippines, symbolizing the geopolitical position of Paragua/Palawan with the rest of the country
