Estandarte del Gobernador-General de Filipinas

In my flagship TL "Filipinas: La Gloriosa y Más Allá", the role of the Governor-General has evolved from being the highest representative of the colonial bureaucracy in the late 1860's, when La Gloriosa Revolution in Spain, into a representative of the Crown of Spain as head of state of the Philippines by the end of the 19th century, when the country became an independent dominion (in short, British-inspired). The duties of the Governor-General of the Philippines has been explicitly explained in both the Basic Laws and the 1899 Constitution.

For the flag itself, I used the color used in Royal Standard of Spain from 1556 to 1834, added with a border and the ATL coat of arms of the Philippines at the center.
