Tu el siempre yo ta buscá
Incluíte siempre en mi sueño
Yo di sé viciáte siempre
Quizas yo te quiero así

La Luna que ta iluminá
Ta entregáte a mi mente
Cómo di habla ya contigo
Tu es todo para mí

Debé está contigo a toda hora
El mi amor debé sentíse
Incluí contigo en mi sueño
Me sentí bien y nada igual
Esta alegría dá en mi corazón
Debé no di acabá

La Luna que ta iluminá
Ta entregáte a mi mente
Cómo di habla ya contigo
Tu es todo para mí

Debé está contigo a toda hora
El mi amor debé sentíse
Incluí contigo en mi sueño
Me sentí bien y nada igual
Esta alegría dá en mi corazón
Debé no di acabá

Debé está contigo a toda hora
El mi amor debé sentíse
Incluí contigo en mi sueño
Me sentí bien y nada igual
Esta alegría dá en mi corazón
Debé no di acabá

This post is dedicated to all Filipino fans of Sailormoon.

As I learned yesterday, actress-singer Angelika dela Cruz became famous when she sung the Tagalog-language version of the Sailormoon opening theme "Moonlight Densestsu". For a 90s kid who was born and grew up in the Philippines, "Sailormoon" was an instant animé hit when it was first shown on ABC-5 (now TV5 Philippines) in October 1994. The translated lyrics was written by composer-songwriter Vehnee Saturno.

In this post, I only changed the language to Chavacano, more especially to Ermiteño variant. This was part of the possibility that if my alternate history timeline "Filipinas: La Gloriosá y Más Allá" continued into contemporary era, where Chavacano is the official lingua franca of the Philippines, co-official with Spanish; so expect that "Sailormoon" would be more popular in ATL Philippines, but dubbed to Chavacano.

The details about the song was still there, although I changed some of the verses in the lyrics (and fingers crossed that Angelika herself will sang this version. Wink/Razz )
